New Horizons is an innovative project offering support to those living in the Liverpool City Region who experience specific and multiple barriers accessing job search, training and education opportunities that enable them to compete effectively in the employment market. Through offering a person-centred approach our specialist advisers will offer advice, training and support that will the lives of 3120 local residents enabling their movement into work, education or training. Part Funded by European Social Fund the programmes will deliver services through.

The project forms a part of a wider partnership network which has been carefully selected to ensure a high quality of service is delivered across diverse communities, particularly focusing on accessibility for BAME communities, those with a disability or long-term health condition and those with socio-economic barriers.

Our services have been designed to meet the needs of all survivors and with an appreciation of one size may not fit all.

At LDAS the experiences of those we support matter. If it doesn’t work, we change it and if it works then don’t reinvent the wheel. Our survivor panel help us to gather feedback and to develop what we deliver so the support offered is the best it can be.

one to one support

Your dedicated support worker will listen to you and help create a safety and support plan and provide external advocacy to get you to where to you need to be to live a life free from abuse.


Your counsellor will work with you on weekly or fortnightly basis (dependent on you needs) this is usually for an hour. They can help you recover from the trauma you have endured.

group programmes

Our programmes provide a supportive environment which allow you to share and recover from your experiences whilst developing further understanding of your experiences.


Your dedicated Bridge Mentor will work with you at your pace. They are able support you to navigate what can often seem like complex systems to ensure you live in safe home and look forward to a happy future.

Enterprise Hub offers high quality enterprise services and strategic engagement to ensure local residents can access support to assess their ideas and take them forward.
